Problem
Bone loss insufficient enough to properly support a lower denture

Solution
5 dental implants supporting a custom made gold bar (see image below left) with an overdenture that snaps into place along with an upper denture

Results
The patient continues to function well for four years without complication while maintaining the bone around the dental implants and stopping the rapid resorption of bone in the lower jaw.

Problem
Periodontal disease and multiple cavities

Solution
Periodontal therapy including scaling and root planing was performed. The teeth were restored with tooth colored fillings, crowns and bridges.

Results
The patient has been stable over the past 3 years with healthy gums and teeth with only 1 minor filling.

Problem
Discolored teeth

Solution
Bleaching and 8 porcelain veneers. The two veneers on the canines were modified veneers that covered the front and the back of the teeth and retored a proper functioning bite. The veneers were about no more than .5 mm thick in most places.

Results
Functional and aesthetic restoration of teeth while conserving as much as the tooth structure as possible.

Problem
Cavities were developing behind these broken down and discolored veneers that the patient had had for many years.

Bleaching for two weeks and two new veneers

Results
Uniform, whiter teeth with new veneers
